The District maintains the levee on the west bank of the San Joaquin River between Airport Way and the Banta Carbone Intake, with the western boundary being Kasson Road. Approximately 80 percent of the District’s properties are in the 100-year flood zone, with the remaining properties being in the 500-year flood zone. The District currently consists of 2,030 acres of primarily agricultural land, with a smaller portion devoted to residences. The District’s boundaries also include the San Joaquin River Club—a 300-acre parcel with a clubhouse, recreation facilities, and 350 home sites
